MILLIONS NATIONWIDE ARE POWERING UP THEIR HALLOWEEN
This month, the national multi-platform Power Rangers Samurai Halloween Safety initiative is in full force! Running throughout the month of October in theaters, schools, online, on social networking sites and in the press, the campaign prominently features Halloween safety tips, Power Rangers Samurai Halloween costumes, tune-in messages to new episodes on Nickelodeon and more.
Throughout October, movie-seeking families will learn an important message when the Power Rangers :60 second PSA runs before G and PG-rated titles in over 700 theaters (more than 1,800 screens) nationwide. Also launching this month, students and teachers across the country will learn Halloween safety tips from the special Power Rangers Samurai knowledge boards posted at over 1,100 elementary schools across the US. Plus, the 1.4 million people who walk through Times Square each day will see a :30 second PSA on the dual-facing Toys-R-Us Geoffreytron.

Additionally, Power Rangers Samurai is taking the important message of Halloween safety to the web by airing the :60 second PSA before all kid, family and mom targeted programming on Hulu. Armies of mom bloggers will be reached with Halloween safety tips from the Power Rangers via the massive BlogHer network. Plus Power Ranger takeovers of the enormous gaming sites Wild Tangent and MiniClip will also ensure that all fans will learn how to Power Up their Halloween!
The Power Rangers Facebook and emPOWER pages are celebrating Halloween all month long with updates, activity sheets and pumpkin carving stencils and costume contests centered around Power Rangers and Halloween safety. The Power Rangers will also be tweeting about Halloween safety, costumes and - most importantly - fun tips throughout the month, as well as driving followers to the Power Rangers Halloween website. The Power Rangers Halloween campaign is also receiving great press through blogs, fan sites and websites, all encouraging their readers to Power Up their Halloween! POWER RANGERS PARTNER WITH BUILD-A-BEAR FOR A MIGHTY 2011 HALLOWEEN DEBUT

Hot off the success of the #1 kids action series Power Rangers Samurai, comes a fun, new costume available exclusively at Build-A-Bear Workshop. Just in time for Halloween, and based on the latest incarnation of the enduringly popular Power Rangers franchise, the Red Samurai Power Ranger costume has been designed specifically by Build-A-Bear Workshop to fit bears and other furry friends.
This costume marks the very first collaboration between the popular interactive entertainment retailer Build-A-Bear Workshop and the iconic Power Rangers franchise. SABAN BRANDS EXPANDS POPULAR MOMBASSADOR PROGRAM

The popularity of the Saban Brands Mombassador program is growing and our newest member, DancingHotDogs.com blogger Divina, has shared her excitement about joining this exclusive group! The mommy blogger hosted a Power Rangers play date for her kids last week and also posted the Power Rangers Samurai Halloween Safety PSA on her popular blog (she receives more than 3,000 unique visitors per month).
The Mombassadors received the first-look at the new Power Rangers Samurai Halloween costumes and are even offering their loyal readers the chance to score a costume for their little Ranger. Go Go Samurai!

POWER RANGERS EMPOWER KEEPS KIDS ACTIVE FOR INTERNATIONAL WALK TO SCHOOL DAY
As part of Saban Brands and Power Rangers' continued commitment to promote the health and well being of millions of young Power Rangers fans nationwide, Power Rangers emPOWER brought the Rangers to Nickelodeon's Worldwide Day of Play and partnered with Every Body Walk! for International Walk To School Day.
Every Body Walk! and the Power Rangers are supporting a new initiative encouraging kids across the country to find a safe way to walk or bike to school. One great way to make walking to school safe and fun is to create a "Walking School Bus" - a group of kids who walk together with at least one parent or adult supervisor. On September 23, the Power Rangers were in Washington, DC to lead a "Walking School Bus" event with Every Body Walk! at the Kaiser Permanente Center for Total Health. The Rangers joined five classes from a local elementary school to exemplify the fun of walking to school with friends. As part of the event, a special Power Rangers Samurai ad was included in the program that was used throughout the weeklong events in DC, reaching key governmental leaders and policy-makers.
On October 5, on the opposite coast, the Rangers then joined millions of kids participating across the world in International Walk To School Day in Los Angeles. As part of this event, the Rangers were seen in the Los Angeles ABC and NBC affiliates' coverage of the event, as they escorted hundreds of students from the 33 Glendale and La Crescenta schools taking part in Walk To School Day in the Los Angeles area.

JULIUS MAKES HIS DEBUT IN BEIJING!

Paul Frank continues to take the world by storm with the opening of a new flagship store in Beijing, China. The store is located in the popular Joy City Mall and celebrated with a grand opening event on September 9, complete with a fashion show and a live performance by GALA, a popular Chinese pop band, to hundreds of excited Paul Frank fans.

PAUL FRANK AND 7-ELEVEN TEAM UP IN HONG KONG

Following the exciting new Beijing flagship store opening, Paul Frank and 7-Eleven will distribute more than 1 million collectible Julius plush items at convenience store locations in Hong Kong. The promotion will be featured in over 900 7-Eleven convenience stores throughout Hong Kong over a nine-week period, which launched September 21st. The stores will also showcase this promotion through in-store displays and posters, billboards, on public transit, outdoor and through social media.

THE POWER RANGERS AND OLYMPIC HOPEFUL
AARON COOK HOST MARTIAL ARTS ACADEMY IN LONDON
Once again Taekwondo star and 2012 Olympic hopeful Aaron Cook teamed up with Power Rangers Samurai for a special martial arts academy on October 8. Children participated in the event, which included fun and engaging games and programs such as mask making and face painting. In addition, the children learned some powerful moves from Aaron and the Samurai Rangers.
London children's magazine Megaton helped spread the word about the event with a front-page feature and mention of the martial arts academy. Fun Kids Live also highlighted this event while simultaneously running a competition to earn martial arts lessons and awesome new Power Rangers toys.

Throughout the month of October, everyone's favorite Paul Frank characters-Julius, Clancy, Worry Bear and the rest of the crew-are featured throughout the world famous toy store - in the main entrance, large windows and in-store displays. FAO customers can check out Julius' Tree Fort along with rows and rows of Paul Frank merchandise, all of which will be available following this special month-long in-store event. Visitors to Fifth Avenue can't miss all of the Paul Frank fun! If you are in the area, stop by to see the excitement for yourself!

Julius for The Cure: Paul Frank Joins The Fight Against Breast Cancer
In honor of its 20th Anniversary, the Susan G. Komen Orange County Race for the Cure united more than 30,000 breast cancer advocates and survivors in a show of support for the global breast cancer movement to save lives. Hosted by the Orange County Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the 2011 event took place on Sunday, September 25, at Fashion Island in Newport Beach, Calif.
Paul Frank showed their support for the cause and gathered a team to walk in the Orange County Race For The Cure. As part of the teams participation, they raised funds to support breast cancer awareness.
In addition, Paul Frank was an expo participant in the KidsZone where Julius and the Paul Frank gang hosted fun activities for the entire family to include Clancy's Coloring Station, Skurvy's Temporary Tattoo Parlor, Sheree's Silk Screening Station, and a Julius vs. Skurvy Ping Pong Tournament! The Susan G. Komen Orange County Race for the Cure also acted as the culminating event of the four-month Academy of Awesome Mobile Tour, closing the successful campaign in the hometown of the Paul Frank brand.
Since its inception in 1992, the Susan G. Komen Orange County Race for the Cure has grown to become Southern California's largest and most anticipated fundraising event, supporting local breast health education and awareness programs, medical services for low-income women and breast cancer research.

TEEN VOGUE PUTS PAUL FRANK IN THE HAUTE SPOT!

In celebration of New York Fashion Week, Teen Vogue opened their popular pop-up shop on site at Lincoln Center from September 8 - September 15. The store featured fashion themed events such as screenings, fashion bloggers, castings, catwalk walking instructions, sizzle videos (including Paul Frank's behind the scenes of the making of the Fall/Holiday look book) a fashion show and more.
Paul Frank skiwear heated up the runway during the Teen Vogue fashion show and the Skull Candy ear buds were the headsets of choice for attendees to listen to music. Teen Vogue's Haute Spot shop was a huge hit with consumers and media alike and was featured by a number of outlets including AdvertisingAge.com, MediaPost News and BizBash.
Also, throughout the month of September, Paul Frank was featured on 10 taxi-toppers in New York City and had a full-page ad in Teen Vogue's October issue.

BILL KEHOE JOINS SABAN BRANDS AS
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER & CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Saban Brands appointed Bill Kehoe as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Bill joins Saban Brands from The Beanstalk Group, where most recently he served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer.
Bill will provide strategic leadership and oversee operations, finance, accounting, human resources and IT functions across all aspects of the Saban Brands businesses, including the television production entities. He holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Hillsdale College.

SABAN BRANDS WELCOMES AMANDA BROADWELL
Working directly with Bill Kehoe is Amanda Broadwell, who joins the team as Bill's executive assistant. She will also be supporting Collin Sam and assisting with some general operations. Previously, Amanda worked as an executive assistant to the Private Equity team at Saban Capital Group and is excited to be staying within the Saban family. Amanda holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies from Cal State Northridge University and spent 6 months studying abroad in Oxford, England.

LICENSING VETERAN REBEKAH BELZER JOINS THE SABAN BRANDS DOMESTIC LICENSING DIVISION
Saban Brands' licensing team has welcomed Rebekah Belzer as the new Director of Licensing, reporting to Nina Leong. Rebekah previously spent seven years with Disney Consumer Products where she launched popular brands such as "Hannah Montana," "High School Musical," "Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings" and "Disney's It's a Small World." Prior to her role at Disney Consumer Products, Rebekah worked in the retail sector for international brands The Gap, Gymboree and The Disney Store. She attended the University of Arizona where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Retail and Consumer Studies.
