Paul Frank Chilled with Some of the Hottest Celebs at Sundance 2012
Paul Frank was a major attraction at the Kari Feinstein's Style Lounge during the 2012 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. Located at The Gateway Center, right in the middle of the action, the three day event attracted a number of cool celebrities to Paul Frank including Wilmer Valderama, Octavia Spencer and Emma Roberts. The Style Lounge was a one stop shop for celebrity attendees, media, and industry tastemakers in town for the festival. Paul Frank's hub within the Style Lounge was fully stocked to share Paul Frank snow jackets, hats, gloves, cell phone covers, skis, and snowboards and much more. Holiday Limited-Edition Nestlé Crunch Bar Wrapped In Paul Frank Characters Makes a Sweet Statement
Nestlé Crunch recently unveiled an adorable stocking stuffer created in partnership with Paul Frank. The second annual limited edition Nestlé Crunch Paul Frank chocolate bar was available at Target stores for the 2011 Holiday Season.
Nestlé Crunch has been a favorite since it was introduced in the U.S. in 1938. Since that time, fans have enjoyed the perfect combination of creamy milk chocolate and light, airy crispies that give the bar a distinctive "CRUNCH!" Adding something extra, something unexpected is part of the personality of the brand and this year was no exception!
The limited-edition Nestlé Crunch Paul Frank bar provided an interesting gift idea or stocking stuffer, with a 2.75 oz bar tucked inside a colorful gift envelope that doubled as a holiday card. Unique playful packaging featured holiday artwork and Paul Frank's loveable characters, including everyone's friend Julius.
Throughout the holiday season fans visited the Nestlé Crunch official Facebook page to enter for a chance to win prizes including a month's supply of Nestlé Crunch bars and a variety of Paul Frank goods! What a fun and delicious collaboration between Nestlé Crunch and Paul Frank. Yummy!

Power Rangers Special Episode Cinema Party
The Rangers hosted a special "sneak peek "of the Season Finale episode of Power Rangers Samurai at a cinema in London, England. More than 60 lucky Nickelodeon competition winners and journalists attended. Media attendees included The Daily Express, TV Magazine and TV Choice. After the exclusive screening, guests were treated to lunch and received Power Rangers figurines, donated by Bandai, from the Rangers themselves!
The Power Ranger's trip across the pond attracted a variety of celebrity guests, including TV personality and model Nell McAndrew and X Factor finalist Stacey Soloman along with their families. The Power Rangers and Scholastic Empower Children to Encourage Healthy Lifestyles
In February 2012, the Power Rangers will launch a national in-school program in partnership with global educational leader, Scholastic.com. Through Power Rangers emPOWER, the Rangers have been teaching kids and families how to put the Power Rangers values of teamwork, confidence, health and physical activity into action. Developed in partnership with leaders in children's services, this initiative has successfully been activated in more than 5,000 school programs nationwide as well as online and at live events. Just as the Power Rangers use teamwork to solve a different challenge in every episode, Power Rangers emPOWER provides parents and community leaders the tools they need to work together to grow healthy kids.
The Power Rangers are proud to partner with Scholastic.com, which has been recognized as a trusted name in learning by both teachers and parents for more than 90 years. Scholastic.com focuses on encouraging children to learn to read, helping teachers and supporting parents in their role as their child's first teacher.
The partnership will help raise awareness of the Power Rangers emPOWER program, which is designed to inspire and educate young minds to be confident, team players and live a healthy, active lifestyle, just like their favorite Power Rangers! The program will include print and digital curriculum materials that provide educational information on healthy eating and physical activity, to reach 150,000 teachers, 1.3 million students, and 4 million parents and friends. Materials developed will also include lesson plans offering ways to naturally integrate nutrition and exercise concepts into a variety of discussions from the health habits of Americans to how modern science influences our health.
The Power Rangers will also participate in a co-branded microsite on Scholastic.com's Teachers site, with the goal of opening young minds, educating and inspiring kids to maintain a healthy lifestyle. A separate families section of the microsite will aim to inspire audiences and provides family tips on how to stay active and healthy.
To get teachers excited about the Power Rangers emPOWER program, Scholastic.com will host the National emPOWER Teachers Sweepstakes, open to all teachers, grades K-6. Teachers will be asked to fill out an online form with their information, school name, and location and be asked to give a short answer to the following question: How do they plan to reinforce healthy choices in the classroom? Participating teachers will be entered to win the following prizes including
- $10,000 school grant to fund the physical education and healthy living initiatives. Also includes a visit from the Power Rangers during a school assembly!!
- Five (5) additional teachers will win a classroom set of the Power Rangers Scholastic book series for their classroom library.

Power Rangers Samurai and NAMCO BANDAI Games Shine At the 123rd Annual Tournament of Roses® Parade
The 123rd Annual Tournament of Roses® Parade on Monday, January 2, 2012 in Pasadena, CA featured spirited marching bands, iconic floral floats, high-stepping equestrian units and... The Samurai Power Rangers!
The Power Rangers Samurai and NAMCO BANDAI Games teamed up to celebrate the release of Saban's Power Rangers Samurai videogame on Wii™ and Nintendo DS™. The float held all six of the beloved Power Rangers characters surrounded by their mighty Zords; the Green Ranger's Bear Zord, the Blue Ranger's Dragon Zord, the Pink Ranger's Turtle Zord, the Yellow Ranger's Ape Zord and the Red Ranger's Lion Zord, all decorated using carefully chosen floral arrangements. The entire float culminated in the giant MegaZord, the colossal robotic samurai formed when all five Power Rangers combine their powers. The Power Rangers were thrilled to be a part of the legendary Rose Parade, meeting hundreds of kids in attendance and reaching millions of children watching from home.

2011 was the year of Paul Frank in the retail world. Julius led kids back to school as the licensed star of Target holding the coveted "end cap" spot and feature in Target TV and print media advertisements. With all the buzz, it's no surprise that Paul Frank became the #1 licensed brand on the Junior's sleepwear floor at Target! Moving into the holiday season FAO Schwartz was transformed into Paul Frank's "Planned Pines" with an impactful statement throughout the main floor. The brand also partnered with St. Jude's to offer an exclusive tee for their holiday catalog with proceeds going to the St. Jude's Foundation.

Power Rangers Shine at Children's Hospital Tree-Lighting Ceremony

More than 100 patients, families, hospital supporters and celebrities gathered for the annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. The Samurai Power Rangers greeted the crowd, posed for photos with children and families in the Haim and Cheryl Saban Story Corner, and surprised patients.
Modern Family's Jesse Tyler Ferguson served as Master of Ceremonies for the event, held outdoors in the hospital's Healing Garden. Also joining the festivities were Fred Willard ("Best in Show") and David Burtka (E! News, "Gypsy") , who read holiday stories; as well as Lindsay Pearce (The Glee Project) and Broadway stars Erich Bergen ("Jersey Boys"), Shoshanna Bean ("Wicked") and Veronica Dunne ("Wild Hearts"), who performed holiday songs. The Samurai Power Rangers were proud to participate in the event, hand out gifts to kids and, support the great work that Children's Hospital Los Angeles does for young patients and their families in Los Angeles. GO GO CHLA!!
